About us
helping young people achieve their full potential!
Oxford Attaining the Peak (ATP) Student Society, founded by Emefa J. Takyi-Amoako, is an Oxford-based education scheme, dedicated to helping young people achieve their full potential. We believe that all children deserve this. To realise our aim, we connect students who need help, with student-mentors and facilitators who volunteer to help them. Some students find that personal and financial difficulties compromise their education and their future. They really value the work of our student-mentors and facilitators, who are trained to help, and then gain invaluable experiences which better their confidence, presentation and teaching skills. Our approach is therefore mutually beneficial: we want our students’ futures to help society as much as society to benefit our students’ futures.
We also lead talks and workshops in schools to make children aware of the opportunities available to them, and wish to continue expanding our services nationwide & international. You could help us to help students to help more students. The programme is supported by a dynamic Advisory Board. We hope you enjoy reading about the work we do, and I am sure that our students will be grateful for any interest you take.

VISION & MISSION
We envision a day when all youth, wherever they are and whatever their backgrounds, will gain access to equal opportunities and develop as positive-minded people who realise their dreams by attaining the peak in whatever endeavour they undertake for their own and society’s benefit.

VOLUNTEERING
A few hours of your time each week could really improve one of our mentees academic progress, giving them a solid academic foundation.
